I’ve seen the motley shades of the sky
I’ve seen a little birdie learning to fly
I’ve seen the night steal over the sun
On a dreary winter afternoon
I’ve seen the sunkissed mountain peaks
I’ve seen caged animals trying to speak
I’ve seen a raging storm’s black dress
Fade away into nothingness
I’ve seen the azure waters of the sea
I’ve seen squirrels prancing on a tree
I’ve seen the mesmerizing sultry moon
Liven up even the most melancholy tune
I’ve seen some of nature’s prettiest sights
Sanguine mornings and dreamy nights
Masterstrokes of God’s skilled brush
That no evil in the world can touch
In every little thing there’s beauty to be found
All i have to do is to look around

What gorgeous photos!!! And I love the thought of simply looking around to find the beauty all around us — thanks for reminding us how near it is!
Thanks Debbie! The world really is quite pretty, isn’t it? We just forget to see it most of the time!
